Nightlife in Valencia
Valencia nightlife is well known for its discotheques, where music is played till dawn. These discos are located in the outskirts of the city of Valencia as well as on the Valencia to Cullera road that crosses plenty of beaches and residential states. Naturally, Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest days as they are the days when people usually go out at night.
The nightlife in Valencia is always lively and dynamic and often quite hot and sweaty too. Nightclubbing in Valencia is a "must do": for instance you could go out to dinner then go to "El Carme" or you could visit "La Floridita" down by the beach.

There is a really good event celebrated day and night in Valencia, "Las Fallas". At this festival the Valencian people block the streets with towering sculptured statues in quite a particular way by the artisans that have spent the previous year making them. The Valencia Fallas are held between the 12th and 19th of March. All day and night, crowds of locals and foreigners fill the streets and the sounds of exploding firecrackers and fireworks fill the air. You never know, you might even be one of those people that light the firecrackers. Then at the end of the festivities, the huge statues or "ninots" are given prizes, then set of fire; that is the end of "Las Fallas" and the beginning of spring.
